Sweet Snack

For an gooey gooey sweet snack this cinnamon honey bread pudding makes for a really great treat. It is all kind of mixed to 'feeling'.

Day old bread of some kind, torn up
One egg
1/2 stick of butter
1 1/2 cups milk
2tsp cinnamon
1 table spoon honey

Mix all except the bread and pour over bread mix gently until all is coated.

Bake in the oven at around 350 degree Fahrenheit for about 30 minutes or until it springs back like a sponge when you touch it.

Really great served with vanilla ice cream.

Enjoy!!

Chicken stew

Yum, chicken stew!! Add biscuits, double yum! All kinds off good things came out of our supper tonight. Both of my kiddos cleaned theirs plates. And believe me, that is a lot to ask of a 3 year old and a 19 month old! It was very good.

Italian Sausage Alfredo

Ingredients
Italian sausage - one link for every person eating
One jar of plain Alfredo sauce - any brand
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1/4 cup of chopped onion
1 stick of butter halved
1 cup of milk halved
1/2 cup fiesta mixed cheese
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan, grated or shredded
1/2 pound to 1 pound of your favorite pasta. I like radiatore and penne
Salt and pepper to taste
Couple of good shakes of chives

Directions
Fill a stock pot half way with water. Add half butter and salt and pepper. Wait until hard boil, dump in pasta and cook per directions on the box.

Lightly cook sausage in some water just until firm. Slice into 'wheels'. Pour remaining water out of sauce pan. And rinse out pan.
Add, half butter to sauce pan, melt down over medium heat. And garlic and onion cook until transparent. Add sausage back to the pan and cook until until brown and crisping. Pour in jar of sauce, add milk and shake jar. Stir until well mixed and cooking down. Add in all of the cheeses and milk. Mix in the chives. Cook until all the cheese has melted and is hot all the way through.

You can serve it all mixed together or you can pour the sauce over the pasta individually. I like to have it with a nice thick piece of garlic bread.

Enjoy!
